Horse-man-ship Mindset - Yes - No - Maybe
I have not met a great horseman yet that thinks he has arrived at knowing everything or speaks of days gone by unless they feel it can improve their future! They feel there is always something that can be sharpened. Therefore; one of the most important aspects to your mindset is continuing education. In order for the brain to rewire to refire it needs new information. Ask yourself and be honest - how much and where am I continuing new learning for my life and my horsemanship?
Are you a person that likes change or one that finds it difficult to do?
Change ultimately comes down to a decision that only you can make. You can't change anyone eles or no one can change you. That leaves you to make the difference.
In horsemanship you can ride for years and never achieve the results you want to achieve until you make the decision to find the answers yourself, what does it take, how do I communicate to a horse in a way that is effective. When you open yourself up to receive the awareness that is necessary your desired results will appear in the not too distant future. Sometimes immediately! You might wonder why I haven't been doing this all along!
Reflect on your life and horsemanship and see what you change would best serve you!
Mindful Riding,
