Experience an Exceptional Cattle-Working Weekend with Master Horseman Dennis Cappel Join us May 16-17th, 2026, for a hands-on training weekend designed to get you and your horse comfortable and confident working a cow. Instructor: Dennis Cappel – Master Horseman Time: 10:00 AM – 4:00 PM Fee: $700 Deposit: $300 to reserve your spot (limited riders) Balance: $400 due at the clinic Horse Lodging: Stalls or runs available Lunch: BYO or enjoy a nearby restaurant Highlights of the Weekend: Saturday, May 16th – Flag Work Learn proper positioning for working cattle Improve your horse’s responsiveness and confidence Build trust and partnership between horse and rider Prepare for live cattle work on Sunday Sunday, May 17th – Live Cattle Work Help your horse get comfortable around cattle Learn to rate, stop, and turn a cow properly Hands-on experience working a cow Mental Preparation: All our clinics begin with a mental preparation session.
