Spring forward: Reflecting on 2025 to Ride Stronger in 2026

As we leave 2025 behind and step into 2026, it is the perfect time to look back not to dwell, but to springboard forward. This is your moment to feel inspired, encouraged, eager, and confident that this coming year can be better than the last.

One of the best ways to do this is through positive reflection. Take some time, days to write down the things you did well, the accomplishments you achieved, and the growth you experienced both for yourself and with your horse. Your horsemanship journey is a combination of all the steps you have taken up to now. Each one of those steps played an important part.

Remember: small wins are just like pennies; they all add up over time. The more you “pay in,” the greater the total as…

· Cleaning your barn, making new space

· Finishing a book on horsemanship

· Working on your own physical ability or balance

· Retraining your mind to stay focusing forward

As you have heard me say repeatedly, every step matters with a horse, and that is the same for you. Start your reflection now!

So, grab a journal, a notebook, or print out the 2025 Reflection PDF, and write down all the accomplishments, big or small, that helped you and your horse grow. Capture them all!! Take as long as you need and add them as they come to mind.

Then, stay tuned for next week’s blog, where we will introduce the 2026 Clear Horsemanship Image Blueprint, a powerful tool to help you set your intentions, build a clear image for your horsemanship, and create a plan for action.

Looking forward to this being the best year yet, as you have made the decision it will be.

Let us ride 2026 together better than ever, because we have decided to!
